Hello all and welcome to my website. I do appreciate that the website is updated relatively irregularly but that’s largely due to the time it takes to put various of my books and series together. In this post I’m going to talk about 2024 and some thoughts on 2025.
During 2024 spent much of the year creating the Billboard series celebrating 85 years (in 2025) of their singles chart, which began in 1940 with the ‘Best Sellers In Stores’ chart. This became an all encompassing task as I was adding in the Dance charts as they have never been researched to the extent I am here. Since I also have a full time job this left very little time for other projects. I had initially thought, as 2024 celebrates 20 years to the Digital Download chart in the UK and 10 years of streaming that I’d do books for both of those. Pressures of the Billboard series precluded doing so.
This also meant that I was unable to explore work on an online database that users could access for themselves and this has not been forgotten – simply moved to 2025.
So what if 2025? Well 2025 sees the end of the Billboard series as issues for 1990-2025 will be released during the year. I have also decided on how my long awaited Album series will be issued and that will come between 2026 and 2028, and feature the UK and USA albums. More on that in December 2025!
As I have said I long wanted an online database that others could access. I want to make this available in some way with a cost (the web space and storage must be paid for) but my stumbling block is time as I can’t afford to pay a developer about £10,000 to do it for me. As such I have to use my own knowledge and learn it step by step. My prior stumbling block has been that I am unable to send emails from the system as this meant that those signing up would not get an email to register. I think I’ve solved that…. Famous last words! If it does work then an Alpha version (the earliest version) should be out for select testing early in 2025. A Beta will follow as I also want to integrate the online with an offline copy so that I can make adjustments to the data easily.
I also want to explore options such as a Patreon style tier system. I have so much data that I do want to share but I also am time poor so need to priorities what people actually want. So, to that end, please comment below if there are things you want me to create or utilise within a Patreon style system. I may even just join Patreon and use their platform.

Hi Tom, if you mean for the Hot 100 Bubbling Under then yes as that chart was compiled. Albums Bubbling was not printed that week.
